Earl Grey Dark Chocolate (Hot)
If you’re tired of the same old hot chocolate then you’ve got to try this amazing recipe. The bergamot in Earl Grey gives this dark chocolate concoction a whole new spin on relaxing and sinful.
Ingredients:
2 Earl Grey sachets (We recommend Harney & Sons Earl Grey Supreme!)
5oz Dark chocolate, chopped (grate a small amount for garnish if desired)
1 cup Whole Milk
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 tsp kosher salt
———————————-
Whipped Topping
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp sugar
1/3 cup heavy cream
Directions:
1. On low heat, simmer your whole milk and half cup heavy cream in a sauce pan. When you begin to see bubbles start to form along the sides of the sauce pan, remove from heat.
2. Add your tea sachets to the heated milk and cream and let steep for 10 minutes. Throw away the sachets once you’re done steeping them.
3. Return the pan to stove on low heat setting and blend in sugar, chopped dark chocolate, and salt. Stir until smooth and creamy making sure that your chocolate has completely melted.
4. Remove from heat and pour into your favorite mug.
5. Add whipped topping to the top of your hot chocolate and garnish with grated dark chocolate.

For Whipped Topping
Directions:
Using a mixer or frother, whisk 1/3 heavy cream and 1/2 tsp of sugar. You can do this in a mug or bowl. This will take very little time so make sure that you stop before your topping begins to stiffen.
